Devaun Bias, born and raised in Trenton, NJ. got his love of music from his parents. Being around studio equipment from his father, who wrote and produced music locally, he learned the basics of music production at an early age. However, it wasn’t until after he graduated high school that he started producing. R&B and TrapSoul is where his production shines, but he also loves HipHop and Pop.

Daystar has worked with rising artists such as Jourdin Pauline, Chris Echols, OShea and a few others, and his catalogue is still growing.

“What can I say? Growing up, music has always been a part of me. Literally can’t go a day without it. Music gives me a mental stability that nothing else can.
Besides music, I love gaming and playing basketball even more. When I started producing, it was just for myself. Creating vibes with artists and friends that I mutually respect and love. After taking a step back I see that with my team… who’ve grown to be my brothers. We can do so much, and change the whole landscape of this music industry.”
